Meet Melissa

Portrait Photographer

After practicing tax law for 11 years, I began pursuing photography as a hobby when my first baby was born. My new hobby turned into a passion and then into a professional pursuit as my husband and I raised our four incredible children. Now as a photographer of 20 plus years, I see more than ever the value of capturing those important life moments through photos.

Photos have the power to connect people through the stories they tell, and they can bring you right back to a cherished moment or time in your life. They also have the power to boost your professional endeavors and help create an online presence that can drive traffic to your business or personal brand. I am passionate about using my skills to help capture photos that my clients will use and enjoy for years to come.

I have also come to know that the way in which beautiful photos are captured matters. I have photographed hundreds of people, and have learned how to create an environment where you can be yourself. My former profession as a tax lawyer honed my attention to detail and I use that skill to - document who you are in that once-in-a-lifetime moment so you never forget it.
