My journey into photography started with the birth of my oldest child (now 19). In addition to acting as the historian of our family with my camera, my goal has always been to capture each of my children’s unique personalities every step of the way. My favorite images hang in our upstairs hallway and are individual portraits often with no distractions that captured my children’s special smile, laugh or expression.

One of my strengths as a photographer is putting my clients – big and small at ease. I am very comfortable working with children of all ages. I’ve seen it all. One thing I love about working with younger kids is they tend to be themselves – whether that is outgoing and spirited or shy and demure. It doesn’t matter – I capture it and make my sessions quick and fun.
